We congratulate Dr. Hui on her appointment to the faculty at Loma Linda University at the rank of Assistant Professor. In addition to her private practice, she will be seeing and caring for patients in the Department of Ophthalmology, Division of Oculoplastics at the School of Medicine. She is excited to continue with her mission of excellence in the field of Eyelid, Lacrimal and Orbital Surgery and to foster the education of future Ophthalmologists.
We congratulate Dr. Hui on her recent induction as a Fellow to the American College of Surgeons (FACS). The American College of Surgeons (ACS) is dedicated to improving the care of the surgical patient and to safeguarding standards of care in an optimal and ethical practice environment. The letters “FACS” (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) after a surgeon’s name mean that the surgeon’s education and training, professional qualifications, surgical competence, and ethical conduct have passed a rigorous evaluation and have been found to be consistent with the high standards established and demanded by the College. A Fellow must maintain these high standards throughout her career and be unequivocally committed to placing the welfare of the patient above any other consideration. Congratulations Dr. Hui!
Protect your eyelids from the harsh rays of the Coachella Valley Sun. When applying your sunscreen, don’t forget to apply a thin layer across your upper and lower eyelids. Place a small amount on your index finger and gently swipe the sunscreen across this delicate skin (ladies, please apply sunscreen under your makeup). And don’t forget your sunglasses and hat to top things off!
Antioxidants combat the aging process. They also prevent and halt the progression of macular degeneration. Knowing your antioxidant level is as important as knowing your cholesterol level or blood pressure. We are proud to offer non-invasive, painless measurement of your antioxidant levels with an optical scanner. Please call 760.610.2677 today to schedule your scan!
